I was born and raised in Memphis, TN until August 1999 when my family and I moved to Olive Branch, MS. My mom constantly brings this memory to mind…when I was 5 or 6 years old, I would put on one of my sport coats and a clip-on-tie and do the 5 o’clock news in my bedroom. I guess I always wanted to be on camera or just be heard. I can remember my mom as she was taking me to school one morning asking me what I wanted to do when I grew up. I immediately said, “I want to do that,” and pointed to the radio. After I graduated from high school, I attended the University of Memphis and graduated with a BA in Broadcast Communication. I started out at WUMR 91.7, The Jazz Lover, and then moved to a paid gig with WRXQ 95.7…a Rock Alternative Format. In January 2000 I finally reached my goal and was working on-air at WMC-FM 100, doing weekends and filling in when needed. Finally, in September 2003, I decided to go to work for WRVR, 104.5 The River, where you can hear me on the Weekends. I have been married for just over a year, and my wife and I live in Olive Branch. We are expecting a baby in May 2008, too! My hobbies are golf, working out and sleeping! Thanks for listening!
